School Council
A school council is a representative, school building-based committee composed of the principal, parents, teachers, and community members. Their purpose is to assist principals by reviewing the school building budget and developing the school improvement plan.
MLK Friends
The Friends of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School (MLK Friends) is a nonprofit volunteer parent group that funds, supports and hosts projects, programs and events to strengthen our school’s community. The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 8 - 9AM in the MLKing School conference room.
