Dear Families,

What a great come-from-behind victory for the New England Patriots! I would like to think our Patriot Spirit Days helped to influence the win. I hope you and your family are having a good winter. Our big Chinese New Year Assembly is this Friday, February 10th from 8:30 - 9:30AM in the auditorium. Students and teachers have worked very hard for this performance. We hope that you can join us in the celebration!

A few notes:

  • Report cards will be mailed home this week. Please let us know if you do not receive your child’s report card by next Monday. Report cards are just an overview of your child’s progress. If you have further questions, please communicate with your child’s teachers.

  • February Break is from Monday, February 20th to Friday, February 24th. There will be no school during this week.

  • Please welcome our new School Principal Intern, Mr. Kevin Hughes. Mr. Hughes is a graduate student at the Harvard School of Education. He will be here Wednesdays through Fridays until early May.

  • It would be very helpful and appreciated if any dismissals are communicated in advance to your child’s teacher (email or a note in the morning). It is time consuming to dismiss at the last minute. It would also be helpful if we can reduce dismissals right before school ends (3:30 - 3:55PM) as this is a busy time with dismissal procedures.

We look forward to seeing you this Friday morning. Happy Year of the Rooster!

Yours truly,

Gerald Yung, Principal
