I hope you are safe and healthy. I miss our school community as I imagine we all do. This is a very challenging time. Thank you to all of our teachers for organizing home activities and check-ins with students.

Students should be reading and doing a few of the online activities recommended by their teachers, but each child is different. We know that finding a "just-right" home schedule may take some children longer than others. Please refer to the emails and materials provided by your child’s teachers for guidance. If you need to ask us a question, please do not hesitate to do so.

Please see the attached email from our specialists with suggested activities for this week >>

A few notes:
  • Free breakfast and lunches are being distributed every weekday at our Magee Street entrance (grab and go). Should you need to, please do not hesitate to accept this.
  • If you are in need of technology, a hotspot, or a gift card, please contact our family liaison Marguerite Hicks-Gyewu.
  • The building will remain closed until district approval. Last Wednesday, our custodians cleaned and sprayed the entire building.
  • Classroom teachers have been corresponding with students about daily activities. Some classrooms in the upper grades have been using Google Meet for live check-ins. We are still working out the challenges of this technology. Our coaches and I have weekly online meetings with each grade level.
  • Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and health care providers. Our school nurse Jennifer "Ife" Rollins was featured on the cover of The Boston Globe. We appreciate all that she does for our students and city!
