Partnership with Moore Youth Center yields flexible options for half- or full-day, and 3-, 6-, or 8- week Math & STEAM camps

Rising 6th - 8th Graders (current 5th - 7th) are invited to apply for limited spots in our Math & STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) summer programs, offered in partnership with DHSP Cambridge Youth Programs. Students can choose between morning-only math workshops offered at Putnam Avenue Upper School, or a full-day program that combines the math workshops with full-day offerings at nearby Moore Youth Center.

CPS Math Workshops: CPS Summer Math Workshops are FREE, and any Upper School student is eligible to participate. Offered in 2 sessions, students may choose to take one 3-week session or sign up for a total of 6 weeks of morning math offered in July and August. There are no special requirements to participate, but seats are limited and applications will be reviewed to ensure that the program reflects the diversity of Cambridge as a whole. Priority may be given to students who are recommended to the program by their teachers. In addition, a special 6-week program is available for students in Grade 7 who wish to move up in 2017 to Accelerated Math for 8th Grade. Learn more about the "Math Bridge" program by speaking with your math teacher.

Moore Youth Center's Mission Possible: Solve It! This youth program offers opportunities for hands-on exploration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) concepts -- with field trips, games, leadership development, college visits, and plenty of fun wrapped into one program.

Space is limited -- Return your application to your math teacher or 5th Grade teacher to apply for a spot!
