NEW! Summer Math & STEAM
Posted on 04/13/2016

Update! Math on a Mission deadline has been extended – families should apply by May 27th to be eligible for full day program financial aid. Math classes are free; full day option provided for additional cost.

Rising 6th - 8th Graders are invited to apply to a new and improved summer math and STEAM experience made possible through a partnership between CPS and DHSP Cambridge Youth Programs.

Summer Morning Math classes will be available for FREE to eligible students entering Grades 6-8. Taught by CPS math teachers, the math classes will take place at Putnam Avenue Upper School during the months of July-August. This year, morning math will be seamlessly paired with a full-day youth program located at Moore Youth Center called The Mission Possible: Solve It! Students can sign up for specific weeks or the full 8 weeks of the program to experience hands-on exploration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) concepts -- with field trips, games, leadership development, college visits, and plenty of fun wrapped into one program.

Space is limited -- Return your application to your math teacher or 5th Grade teacher to apply for a spot!
